There’s a unique satisfaction that comes with the final stretch of a project, the moment when the space begins to feel complete and the finishing touches make our vision truly come to life. Our recent project in Rutland is now at that stage, with the main work finished and only a few final pieces left to arrive.
Over the past months, we’ve focused on reimagining the interiors through considered spatial planning, thoughtful material choices, and a calm, cohesive palette. Now, with the larger installations in place, we’re turning our attention to the elements that bring warmth and personality to the home.
Most of the furniture, soft furnishings, and joinery details are now fitted, and the rooms are settling into their intended character. We’re currently awaiting a few final items — including the elegant oval dining table, a few key rugs to define and ground specific areas, and some of the beautiful art that will complete each room.
These finishing touches may be minimal in number now, but they play an essential role in achieving a balanced, refined interior. As we approach completion, this Rutland residence is becoming a strong reflection of our design ethos: timeless, considered, and deeply connected to the way our clients live.
