A FRENCH CELEBRATION

At the beginning of October, the Allison & Co. team gathered in the south of France to celebrate the completion of one of our most exciting projects to date — a beautifully restored home that perfectly captures the balance between timeless design and elegant European living.

After many months of planning, designing, and bringing every detail together, it was a real joy to see the house come to life — and even more special to celebrate its completion surrounded by friends, collaborators, and clients who helped make it possible.

It was a busy and inspiring week at the property as we welcomed Mark Nicholson, who spent several days photographing the space. His talent for capturing light, texture, and atmosphere made it the perfect opportunity to document the home in all its finished beauty. We can’t wait to share the photographs soon — they truly showcase the craftsmanship and design details that make this house so special.

Projects like this one are never just about design; they’re about the people behind them. We were fortunate to work alongside a brilliant network of artisans, contractors, and makers who helped bring our vision to life — from bespoke joinery and hand-finished plasterwork to curated furnishings that tell a story of both British and European craftsmanship.

Our goal throughout was to create a home that feels deeply connected to its surroundings — light, layered, and timeless. Every element, from the colour palette to the material choices, was designed to enhance the natural beauty of the property and the landscape beyond.

As we reflect on this project, we’re filled with gratitude for the opportunities it’s brought and the relationships it’s strengthened. It marks a milestone for Allison & Co. as we continue to expand our work across Europe — helping clients create spaces that are both beautiful and deeply personal.

We’re so excited to share more from this incredible project soon. Keep an eye on our Instagram and website for the full photo series by Mark Nicholson — it’s one you won’t want to miss.
